So what's its deal?

Born to a family that is part of a devil cult worshipping Beelzebub, Brynn did not have much of a chilhood, spending its days locked indoors as its unusual appearance would disgrace the family, who are rich nobles living in a large city where bureaucratic corruption is rampant. Although it was definitely not a good thing, locking a child away because of your own poor choices of who to have a child with, it did provide Brynn with a valuable opportunity- to not be directly indoctrinated, its family's carelessness allowing it to sneak into the city for the breif hour it had of an illusionary disguise and interact with the world, reading books and talking to people who, well, didn't grow up in a cult or a basement.

This knowledge of life outside Brynn's decidedly shitty family has led to it longing to make a life of its own, wanting to maybe taking up employment in a bookstore, or apprenticing under a baker to learn how to make the tasty breads Brynn loved to purchase from the city's bakery with the coins it managed to swipe from its family.

What is it up to now?

A blood war between the devil and demon cults of the city has broken out, Brynn's family forcing it to take part, but it and the devils it was sent with were taken down by a group of adventurers, who brought Brynn back to the Briarhearts, a family who are insistent on ending the war, to see if it has any information. Seeing how reluctant Brynn actually was to have fought the group, the Briarhearts allowed it to stay alive and not imprisoned- on one condition. Brynn is magically bound to not be able to hinder the Briarhearts.

Now with the group its going to be travelling with for the next while, Brynn will stick around and help as long as it needs to. Attachment seems unlikely, seeing as no one had even talked to it beyond a short introduction, so it will leave as soon as it can.

Extra little facts

• Has gauntlets of strength, to counter its weak physical capabilities.
• Can't fly, its wings only make buzzing sounds.
• Hosts a swarm of insects within itself, they assist with battle.
• Mainly uses a bow, but also carries multiple other weapons including a mace.
